AF990 – WIRED KEYBOARD FOR AF927PLUS AND AF927PLUSTC CONTROL UNITS
1) WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
These devices can only be used in the context of an alarm system and in accordance with this manual and the manual of the system's compatible control units (cod.AF927PLUS and AF927PLUSTC).
They can be installed inside rooms, within the indicated temperature limits. The opening of the devices, with the exception of the battery compartment, involves the immediate forfeiture of the industrial
warranty. Any other use is to be considered inappropriate and is prohibited. The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage resulting from inappropriate use of the product, other than as provided for
in this manual. Please read this manual carefully in all its parts.
1.1) DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
The manufacturer, AVE SPA, declares that the radio equipment AF990 complies with Directive 2014/53/EU. The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at the following Internet

2) GENERAL INFORMATION
The device is a wired keyboard that can be used for control units of the AF927 series. The device is equipped with an LCD touch screen and an RFID reader for TAGs (AF340-T).
The AF990 keyboard can only be paired with control units of the AF927 series, only if the AF927INTFIL wired bus interface is installed on it.
3) INSTALLATION, POSITIONING AND FIXING
The AF990 can be installed indoors and within the temperature and humidity limits indicated in the technical characteristics table of the device The keyboard can be mounted on a flat wall or on a
3-module box installed horizontally. The keyboard features a jumper for the possible termination of the Bus line.
4) OPERATION
With the AF990 keyboard, it is possible to:
1. View the status of the system;
2. Activate/deactivate the system completely using the user code: enter the user code and wait for the activation/deactivation menu to appear. Press the ON button to activate or press OFF to completely
deactivate all the areas the code is associated with;
3. Activate the system partially using the user code: enter the user code and wait for the activation/deactivation menu to appear. Select button 1+2 and select the areas to be activated by pressing the
name of the area and then press OK;
4. Manage the relays installed on the control unit or the auxiliary relays installed on the wired bus;
5. View the control unit's event log: press the "Events" button to access the log.
5) MEANING OF THE BUTTONS AND ICONS (Fig.1)
A. System name;
B. GSM signal quality (if the AFGSM04-4G module is installed);
C. Connection to the AVE Cloud service;
D. Wi-Fi signal quality;
E. System date and time;
F. Button to access the event log;
G. Button to access the relay management menu;
H. System status bar;
I. System activation/deactivation button
6) PAIRING THE KEYBOARD WITH THE CONTROL UNIT:
It is possible to pair a maximum of two keyboards with the AF927 control panel.
The AF990 keyboard can be used with AF927 series intrusion control panels that have Firmware version 167 or later installed.
The keyboard can be paired with the control panel automatically or manually.
MANUAL PAIRING:
1. Connect the pairing cable to the AF927INTFIL board without connecting anything to the
AF990 keyboard;
2. Access the "Settings" menu of the AF927 control unit and enter the installer code;
3. Access the "Devices and areas" menu and then press the "Devices" button;
4. Press the "Add more devices" button and then press the "Add BUS devices" button;
5. Press the "Manual device pairing" button;
6. Connect the pairing cable to the AF990 keyboard, wait for its pairing with the AF927 control
unit and complete the configuration of the keyboard parameters;
7. Disconnect the pairing cable from the AF927 control unit and from the AF990 keyboard.
8. Connect the keyboard to the wired BUS.
7) ACTIVATION VIA AF340-T TAG:
Hold the AF340-T TAG near the top right corner of the device for about 1 second (see picture 2) to activate the system's activation/complete activation process.
Hold the AF340-T TAG near the device for about 3 seconds to activate the partial activation of the areas associated to the TAG for the partial activation function.
8) TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
With the aim of improving its products, AVE S.p.a. reserves the right to modify any technical characteristics at any time and without prior notice while retaining functionality and intended use. In addition
to what has already been described, the following technical characteristics refer to the ambient temperature of 20°C (+/- 5°C) and to normal use of the device (residential environment).

2) INFORMATIONS GÉNÉRALES
L'appareil est un clavier filaire utilisable pour les centrales de la gamme AF927. Le dispositif est doté d'un écran LCD tactile et d'un lecteur RFID pour TAG (AF340-T).
Le clavier AF990 ne peut être associé aux centrales de la gamme AF927 que si l'interface bus filaire AF927INTFIL y est installée.

AUTOMATIC PAIRING:
1. Connect the AF990 keyboard to the system's wired bus (warning: until the pairing procedure
is complete, the keyboard will not display any text).
2. Access the "Settings" menu of the AF927 control unit and enter the installer code;
3. Access the "Devices and areas" menu and then press the "Devices" button;
4. Press the "Add more devices" button;
5. Press the "Add BUS devices" button;
6. Press the "Automatic device pairing" button;
7. Wait for the keyboard to be paired with the AF927 control unit and complete the configuration
of the keyboard parameters;
8. Exit the control unit configuration menu.
