26 - WARRANTY
The products in the Access Control segment have a warranty of all parts, pieces and components against any man-
ufacturing defects for a period of 3 (three) months (legal warranty) plus 9 (nine) months of additional warranty, proven
upon presentation of an invoice for the purchase of the product by the final consumer.
In the event of a possible problem with the product, it must be sent to an authorized Nice Brasil distributor for that
product line, and if a manufacturing defect is found, the repair may include, at Nice Brasil's discretion, the replace-
ment of parts or panels with new or reconditioned equivalents. This product and replaced parts are warranted for the
remainder of the original warranty period.
The warranty will totally lose its validity if any of the following occur:
a) Failure to comply with the technical specifications of the product and the recommendations of the installation man-
ual regarding the conditions of use and suitability of the installation site, such as electrical voltage compatible with
the product, characteristics of use, etc.
b) Damage caused by accessories or equipment attached to the product that are not part of the Nice Brasil Group's
product line;
c) Misuse, poor conservation or when the product has undergone aesthetic and/or functional changes or modifica-
tions, as well as when it has been repaired by persons or entities not accredited by Nice Brasil;
d) When the damage to the product is caused by accidents, incidents, natural phenomena (lightning, floods, land-
slides, etc.), humidity, voltage in the electrical network (overvoltage caused by accidents or excessive fluctuations
in the electrical network), chemical or electromagnetic influences resulting from the natural wear and tear of parts,
pieces and components;
e) When there are disturbances in the normal operation of the product due to lack of cleaning and excessive waste,
poor conservation, as well as the action of animals (insects, rodents or domestic animals), or even the presence of
objects inside it, foreign to its operation and purpose of use.
f) Warranty certificate or serial/batch number are erased or show signs of tampering.
g) The product has been tampered with and/or non-original parts found.
h) If the invoice for the purchase of the product is not presented.
i) In the event that the Consumer requests home service, they must go to the nearest Authorized Service to consult
the technical visit fee. In the event that the product needs to be removed, the Consumer shall be responsible for the
costs of transportation, security and return of the product.
If no manufacturing defect is found, and failures arising from installation or improper uses are identified, the consum-
er must bear the expenses.
The transportation and packaging of the product is at the buyer's risk. Under the terms of this supplementary warran-
ty, Nice Brasil reserves the right to modify the general, technical and aesthetic characteristics of its products without
prior notice.
