Make sure there are no sharp objects which your child
can touch, such as frayed cables.
If you are using a saddle with saddle springs on your
bike, make sure to cover the springs before riding your
bike with your child in the seat.
Make sure that the safety belt is not loose or able to
become trapped in any moving parts, particularly the
wheels, including when riding the bicycle without a
child in the seat.
Make sure to fasten the additional retention system to
secure the seat to the bike at all times.
Children in bike seats need to be more warmly clothed
than riders of cycles and should be protected from
rain. Your child will not be moving and so will get cold
quickly.
We recommend your child uses a well-fitting helmet
when they are in the seat. The helmet should comply
with EN 1078:2012+A1:2012.
Regularly check that your child does not exceed the
maximum permitted height and weight.

Always remove the bike seat. Bumps, jolts, and air
turbulence can damage or loosen the seat or its
mounting to the bike. This makes the seat unsafe to

Do not exceed the maximum load of your carrier when using the

luggage should be attached to the opposite end of the bicycle, e.g.

Maintenance
Maintain your bike seat properly, as it will then give
you many years of pleasure. It is sufficient to clean it
occasionally with a cloth, lukewarm water and a mild
cleaning agent.
