▶ Bosch provides you with free security
updates for the GTC
1. Download the software
▶ Download the software update here
(https://www.bosch-professional.com/thermal-update/)
▶ After clicking on the download button, save the file on
your computer
Please note:
Select "Save file" instead of opening the update file
2. Connect your device
▶ Go to the download folder on your computer
Please note:
Ensure that the original name of the update file remains (update.dat) –
do not change it. Ensure that your GTC's battery is fully charged
▶ Use the USB cable from the scope of delivery
to connect the GTC to the computer
Please note:
Your GTC only becomes visible as a drive on the computer once it has
been switched on. Ensure that there is sufficient free space on your GTC
▶ Copy the update file from the download folder on the GTC's drive
Please note:
Do not put the file in a sub-folder
