SAFETY MEASURES

Connection to the mains:

• Prior to plugging in the product to the mains, check that your
mains voltage is the same as or is within the limits indicated on the
product label.
• Keep the cable and the appliance away from sources of heat,
hot surfaces, liquids and moisture. Do not switch on the appliance
if there is liquid spilled on the floor where the appliance is to be
placed or in the vicinity of the ON switch.
• Do not connect or disconnect the appliance using wet hands.
• When you have finished using the appliance, set the switch to the
OFF position and disconnect it from the mains, always holding it by
plastic coating on the plug, and never pulling on the cable.
• Do not pull, twist or subject the power cable to adverse conditions
that could result in excessive wear or damage.
• Once the power cable has been connected to the mains, there
should be enough slack in the cable to prevent accidental discon-
nection while the appliance is in use. If these guidelines are not
observed, reduce the distance between the appliance and the mains
connection to resolve the problem.
Repair:
Only specialised personnel should perform repairs to this electrical
appliance. Any incorrectly performed repair may lead to considera-
ble risk for the user. In the event of repair, please always contact
our aftersales service. Failure to observe these instructions will lead
to the total loss of the product warranty.
Contraindications:
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Children must not perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
without supervision.
• Children aged 8 or more and people with reduced physical,
sensitive or mental capabilities or lacking experience or knowledge
can use this device under supervision, or if they have been provided
with the appropriate guidelines on the safe use of the device and
understand the dangers involved.
• People who are insensitive to heat cannot use this appliance as a
failure to detect excessive heat on the face could cause burns.
• Do not use the appliance while sleeping.
• Do not use the appliance in the bathtub or shower. Do not immer-
se it in any liquid.
