Mode. Slide the 'Switch 'button (Ref.3) to the left hand-side at the back of the unit to
change to 'FM' Mode.
Controls and functions in FM Mode
Auto-search and store
Press and hold down for 2-3 seconds the 'Play/Pause' button (Ref.13) to initiate
•
an automatic scan.
The Oakcastle CD250 will then search for all available FM radio stations available
•
at your location and automatically store 30 radio stations on its memory from P01
to P30.
Once the full scan has been completed and radio stations stored, the Oakcastle
•
CD250 will start playing with the first one found and saved on P01 memory slot.
Use the 'Next/ Forward' (Ref.15) or 'Back/Previous' (Ref.14) buttons to navigate
•
through the stored radio stations found.
Manual search and store
For manual scan use the 'Tuning' rotary button (Ref.17) to fine tune a radio
•
station. Rotate to the right to tune up the frequency band or rotate to the left to
tune down the frequency band.
To manually save the radio station found with good signal, while the radio station
•
is playing, press the 'Program' button once (Ref.8). On the radio display you will
then flash 'P0x' ('x' being a number in between 1-30). Using the 'Next/Forward'
(Ref.15) or 'Back' /Previous' buttons (Ref.14), search for the position number
between P01 and P30 where you would like to have this saved. Once found, to
store your desired radio station, press once again the 'Program' button (Ref.8) to
save on the chosen memory slot. The 'P0x' will no longer flash, indicating that the
radio station has been saved.
To recall and play a saved radio station, use the 'Next/Forward' button (Ref.15) or
'Back/Previous' button (Ref.14) to navigate through the stored radio stations. The
display screen will show the stored station's corresponding number such as e.g., 'P01'.
After one second, the saved radio station on this memory slot will start to play.
Note: When manually saving a radio station to a memory slot, any existing saved
station will be overwritten.
