. Preparing the ice cube maker
You will find information on cleaning in the user manual.
Check the ice cube maker for transport damage.
Place the ice cube maker onto a level, non-slip and heat-resistant surface.
Before using the ice cube maker for the first time, wait 2 hours after you have set
it up. Leave the water tank cover open for at least 2 hours.
Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the accessories (ice cube
basket, ice scoop) and the appliance with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Allow
everything to dry thoroughly.
Carry out the cleaning function ('Cleaning the ice cube maker' in the user manu-
al).
For hygiene reasons, do not use the ice cubes from the first preparation.
The appliance is now ready for use.
The appliance is driven by an electric motor. This can lead to a slight
smell during initial operation. This smell is normal and is not a sign of a
malfunctioning appliance. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation.
. Using the ice cube maker
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
The use of additives such as syrup or colourants can
damage the water sensor and the pump.
Only use clean drinking water with no additives.
Remove the ice cube basket from the appliance.
Fill the drinking water tank up to the MAX mark. Do not fill above the mark.
Reinsert the ice cube basket.
Close the ice container flap.
Connect the appliance to a properly installed socket.
Press the
button to start the ice cube production.
The ice cube machine starts to make ice cubes again.
You can lift out the ice cube basket and remove ice at any time during ice produc-
tion.
