Lubrication
Beforelubricating, repairing, or inspecting, alwaysdisengage

PivotPoints& Linkage
Lubricate all the pivot pointsonthe drivesystem, p arkingbrakeandlift linkage at
least o nceaseason with lightoil.
RearWheels
Therearwheelsshouldberemoved from the axles onceaseason. L ubricate the
axles andthe rimswell with anall-purpose greasebefore re-installingthem.
Front Wheels
Thefront wheels shouldberemoved fromthe axlesonceaseason. L ubricate the

Usethe Deck Wash to rinsegrassclippings from thedeck'sunderside andprevent

MOWING:

Drive the tractorto alevel,clearspoton yourlawn,nearenoughforyour
garden hoseto reach.
Makecertain the tractor's dischargechuteis directedAWAY from your house,
garage,parkedcars,etc.

Disengage t he PTO (Blade Engage),setthe parkingbrake andstopthe
engine.
3.
Thread the hosecoupler(packaged w ith yourtractor'sOperator's M anual)
ontotheendof yourgardenhose.

Attachthe hosecouplertothe waterport onthe deck'ssurface. S eeFigure
