Pull the new hose with the T-piece forward through the opening in the roller and place the T-piece on the axle.

Insert the holding-plate and secure it with the screw.

Place the roller back into the left-hand side cover. Make sure the axle slides correctly positioned into the bore of the
housing. Slowly reroll the hose on the roller.

After the hose is rolled up, align the notched part of the roller with opening of the housing.

Put on the right-hand cover of the housing and secure it with the 6 screws. (Do not overtighten!)
Attention! Check continually that the roller inside can move freely.

1. Put the 10 mm-spanner over the square of the axle and turn it clockwise until the stop ball touches the housing.
2. Now turn the spanner 5 full rotations to adjust the spring tension.

1. Align the cross bore in the axle (for safety pin) with the bore in the housing.
2. Push-in the safety pin. Bend both ends of the safety pin to secure it.

Place the hose reel vertically on the workbench, put back the nut onto the axle's thread on the left-hand side.
Use a 27mm-spanner to thighten the nut. (Do not overtighten!)

1. Place the 2m-hose with the axle connection onto the axle.
2. Tighten the two screws to fasten the connection to the axle.
Attention! Make sure the screws are positioned into the turned groove to keep the connection in place but still
able to swivel!
3. Mount the hose reel back to the wall / column and reconnect it to the air source.
5.3 How to adjust the spring tension (wind up spring)
ADVICE
• Read the instructions carefully before you start any work!
• Refer to the illustrations at page 40 when following instructions.
• To adjust the spring tension the following tools will be needed:
Spanners 27mm and 10mm, pliers, Philips-screwdriver.

Loosen the nut on the left-hand side approximately 1 rotation with a 27mm- wrench.
Take the pliers to straighten the two ends of the safety-pin.

1. Set the 10mm spanner over the square part on the axle and move it slightly clockwise until the safety-pin is
unburdened.
Attention! Full tension of the spring is on the spanner!
2. Hold spanner and hose reel steady and remove the safety-pin.
3. Turn the spanner 1/2 up to 1 rotation (according to need) clockwise to increase the spring tension. Turn it counter-
clockwise to decrease the spring tension.

2. Push-in the safety pin.
3. Bend both ends of the safety pin to secure it.

Retighten the nut on the axle. (Do not overtighten!)
6. Disposal of hose reel
IMPORTANT
Take care for our environment. If you decide to dispose of the hose reel, please do it in a respons ble manner.
– Don't forget: repairing saves resources!
