Adjusting the blade tension:
To perform any maintenance on the pruner, you must completely cut off its power supply..
NOTE: Check the fit of the blade each morning before use. Properly tensioned blade will not swing side to side. If the
blade tightness is normal, the pruner will save effort when cutting.
Elastic fit
1. Loosen the screw counterclockwise with a screwdriver, as shown in figure "1", remove the screw, as shown in Figure 2.
2. Use an Allen wrench to tighten the locknut until it reaches a proper state, not too tight, as shown in Figure 3.
3. Tighten the screw, as shown in "4", and check the blade closure according to the normal procedure.
NOTE: When the sash is closed, the sash must not swing sideways. The lateral swing is an abnormal state. Lateral oscillation
will create a gap between the two blades, causing the gear teeth to not engage properly and damaging the mechanical structure.
Pruner maintenance:
1. Do not cut the branch outside the cutting range; do not cut non-plant materials such as metal and stone etc. Do not use a vice
to hold tools. Replace a shear blade if it is worn or damaged.
2. Keep the equipment clean, wipe the pruning shears, batteries and chargers with a clean cloth (do not use corrosive detergents
or solvents) and use a soft brush or dry cloth to remove dust.
3. Do not immerse the pruner, batteries, and chargers in water or other liquids
4. Use the equipment correctly. Stop using them when there is any damage to the pruning shears, batteries, chargers, etc.
5. If the power switch does not work normally or the pruner cannot be turned off, do not use them. They will be dangerous to
control without a switch and must be repaired.
6. Make sure the switch is off when replacing accessories or storing pruning shears. Such a preventive measure will reduce the
risk of accidentally turning on the pruning shears.
7. Close the blades of the pruning shears and keep them out of the reach of children. It is dangerous to allow inexperienced
people and untrained users to use them.
8. When using the pruner, respect the tools and use, and consider the work environment and tasks. It can pose a risk if pruning
shears are used for irregular operation.
9. After use, remove the dirt from the blades, add lubricating oil or motor oil to the contact part, make the blade keep in the normal
maintenance state, and reduce and extend the life of the blade for the next use .
