OPERATION - Preheating
1. Put the plug into the wall socket. The pilot lights will illuminate, and the appliance will begin to heat up.
2. Wait until the green pilot light is out. The baking plates are now at the correct temperature and the
waffle cone maker is ready for use.
OPERATION - Baking waffles
1. Prepare the waffle batter using the recipe given on the packaging.
2. Preheat the appliance as explained in 'Preheating'.
3. Grease both baking plates. Use a brush to spread the oil or butter over the surface.
4. Pour the required amount of batter onto the bottom baking plate. Make sure no batter is spilt over the
edge of the baking plate. Close the lid.
5. Bake the waffles to the required colour.
6. Open the appliance once the waffles are ready.
7. Carefully remove the waffles with a heat-resistant wooden or plastic spatula; take care not to damage the
non-stick coating. Use the supplied oblong cone shape to make an ellipse horn. Roll the wafer around
the oblong shape. Let it cool and gently slide the cone off. Then fill the cornets with ice cream or fruit.
8. Once you have finished baking waffles, remove the plug from the plug socket and open the appliance
to allow the baking plates to cool down.
WARNING:
• Leave the appliance closed whilst baking the waffles, because opening it may affect the appearance of
the waffles.
• Do not use sharp forks or knives!
Oublies
You can easily turn your wafer into a cone. Roll the wafer around the supplied cone shape. Let it cool and
gently slide the cone off. Then fill the cone with ice cream or fruit. Delicious!
Wafer rolls
Vary by making wafer rolls. Roll the wafer around the stem of a wooden spoon and let it cool. Then
carefully slide the roll off the stem. Then fill the roll with cream. Wow!
Waffle cups
Turn a mug over and place it on the table. Place a warm wafer on top and gently press the wafer down
with both hands. This creates a cup with wavy edges. Then fill the cup with anything you like: ice cream,
fruit, cream, warm cherries in sauce, salads, or turn it into a poke bowl. The possibilities are endless!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean after each use.
1. Disconnect from mains power supply and let the appliance cool down.
2. Clean the housing and the baking plates with a damp cloth. Make sure that no water gets into the
electrical part of the device.
3. Dry the device thoroughly after cleaning.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
when cleaning.
