INSTALLATION
1.
To install the product, please refer to the assembly instructions.
2.
The product is to be placed on a level underground, free from obstacles and in observance of the
required safety distances. All around it, a minimum 2 m. free clearance zone has to be observed
in relation to any other structures or obstacles such as fencing, garage or house walls, tree
branches, washing lines, electrical cabling. The following areas need to be free from obstacles,
as shown on the plan. There should be no overlap between the free clearance of the product and
the free clearance around any other products, the drop zone and the main walking paths.
3.
Ground level:
a.
the beams are not to be dug in. The subsoil can consist of soft or hard materials.
b.
No accessories should be attached. The use of a parasol is prohibited.
4.
The product is fully compliant with the standard EN-581-1 / ENV-581-2 / EN-581-3 / DOMESTIC
USE.
USE
Fit for domestic use only
1.
The product is to be put up by an adult, to be duly checked by him before being used.
2.
Unfit to be used by children under the age of 3 (minimum age for use: 3 years old).
3.
It can only be put up outdoors.
4.
Not be used during assembly or maintenance duties.
5.
The use of a parasol is prohibited.
MAINTENANCE
1.
The product is to be checked at regular intervals. The same applies to servicing duties to the main
components (upper beam, suspension, etc). Failure to comply with maintenance duties may
cause danger.
2.
The following duties are to be performed at the start of each season and subsequently at regular
intervals during the course of the season :
a.
Check bolts, screws and nuts (tighten up if necessary)
b.
Lubricate any moving parts
c.
Check all bolt caps and replace if necessary
d.
Check for traces of damage. Replace any parts if necessary in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions.
3.
Store away this sheet for safekeeping to address any future problems you may encounter.
4.
The wood has been pressure-impregnated using strictly eco-friendly products. However, we
recommend the wood is treated with a wood preservative to prevent the wood from turning grey
(once a year).
5.
Cracks may occur due to dessication. Please be advised this an entirely normal phenomenon
which does not affect the strength and solidity of the wood.
Failure to comply with the assembly instructions or building the product in a manner
different from the way shown on the drawings and instructions is made to occur at the
