OPERATION - General information

OPERATION - Use
The description below corresponds to Figure 2 on page 2 and Figure 3 on page 3.
1. Push the coupler (1) into the tube connection (2) on the motor unit (see figure 2A on page 2). To remove
the coupler, push the button (3) at the top of the tube connection and pull it out.
2. Slide the telescopic interlocking tube (15), the combi nozzle (16) or one of the other included
accessories onto the coupler (see figure 2B on page 2). When using the telescoping interlocking tube,
slide the combi nozzle or one of the other accessories onto the end of the tube.
3. Put the plug in the wall socket, and press the on/off switch (6).
4. Start vacuum cleaning. Press the on/off switch again to turn off the appliance.
5. Press the button on the telescopic tube and keep it pressed in; you can then extend or retract the tube to
the required length (see figure 3 on page 3).
6. Press the foot button on the nozzle to set the combi nozzle for use on hard or soft surfaces (see figure 3
on page 3). For use on hard surfaces, press the foot button on the combi nozzle to extend the brushes.
Lift the button for use on soft surfaces.
ACCESSORIES
This vacuum cleaner is supplied with two accessory tools (see figure 4 on page 3):
• a crevice tool (13) with a narrow nozzle, for cleaning radiators, window frames, crevices, small openings, and similar;
• a round brush (14), for cleaning delicate or irregular surfaces, furniture, Venetian blinds, and similar.
OPERATION - Storage after use
This vacuum cleaner is supplied with a wall mount (12), which can be attached to the wall using two screws.
Place the vacuum cleaner and the accessories onto the wall mount to store them neatly in a fixed place.
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2. Place the vacuum cleaner and the accessories onto the wall mount (see figure 4 on page 3).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - Removing waste from the dust container
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2. Remove the telescopic interlocking tube from the vacuum cleaner.
3. Hold the vacuum cleaner above a waste-bin.
4. Press the button (11) to open the bottom flap (10) (see figure 5 on page 3).
5. If so required, use your hand to remove any waste sticking to the container.
6. Close the bottom flap, and press until it clicks into place.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - Cleaning the housing
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2. Clean the outer surface of all parts with a damp cloth and a cleaner suitable for plastics.
WARNING:
• Never immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water.
• Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to
clean the appliance.
