4.2. Lubrication and exchange of carbon brushes
The carbon brushes and the lubrication of this machine are designed to last long periods
of operation. Lubrication should only be checked when changing the carbon brushes. If
necessary, change the brushes according to the diagnosis in the Troubleshooting Chart
(see page 52), refer the power tool to the PECOL Technical Assistance Service for proper
replacement and revision.
4.3. Transport and storage
• Always store the power tool with the mains plug disconnected and without drill bit or
other accessory installed.
• Clean the power tool before storing (see maintenance instructions on page 50).
• Store in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, dust and excessive heat.
• In case of drops, transport or prolonged storage, check the general condition of the
power tool. Look for cracks, gaps, loose parts inside, among others, before starting it.
4.4. Chuck replacement
If there is a need to replace the chuck, it can be removed in three steps. To reinstall the
chuck, follow the reverse sequence
