BATTERY
Charger comes standard with every powered stair climber.
WARNING! Always remove battery when
unit is not in use and when performing any
maintenance procedures. Improper installation
and removal of battery will cause premature
wear of battery case and cause battery to fall
out during use.
• Battery cells within battery housing are maintenance-
free, sealed and rechargeable.
• Avoid total discharge of battery to prolong battery life.
• Fully charge battery before first use.
• Always charge battery immediately after use.
• Always keep battery as fully charged as possible
and avoid total discharge.
• Battery must be charged within three months of
storage to prevent self-discharge and permanent
loss of capacity.
• Charger automatically switches to trickle charging,
eliminating overcharging.
• Optimum temperature for charging the battery is
68°-77°F. Temperatures outside this range may reduce
battery capacity.
• If battery has not been fully charged or tends to
lose charge too rapidly, this will reduce speed and
capacity of powered stair climber and it may go into
overload mode as a result, even with light loads.
