10. CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE

To guarantee product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, maintenance and adjustments must be performed by the
nearest SCHULZ AUTHORIZED DEALER, which uses genuine parts.

11. ENVIRONMENTAL ORIENTATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Disposal of solid waste (parts in general and product packaging)
The generation of solid waste is an aspect that the user must take into consideration, in the use and mainte-
nance of the equipment. The environmental impacts can cause significant changes in soil quality, in the quality
of superficial and underground water and in the population's health, through the improper disposal of discarded
waste (on the streets, receiving bodies of water, landfills or vacant lands, etc.).
Schulz Compressores S.A. recommends the management of the waste created by the product since its genera-
tion, handling, transport, treatment until its final disposal.
A proper management must consider the following steps: quantification, qualification, classification, source re-
duction, selective collection, recycling, storage, transport, treatment and final destination.
The disposal of solid waste must be done according to the regulative requirements of the legislation in vigor.

12. TERMS OF WARRANTY

SCHULZ COMPRESSORES S.A., within the limits of this Term, assures the first buyer/ user of this product
the warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 6 (six) months (including the Legal Warranty –
first 90 (ninety) days), counting from the invoice date.
WARRANTY GENERAL CONDITIONS
A.
Warranty reception will only be held in view of presentation of the original invoice, preferably on behalf of the
customer, containing data of the personal or business document.
B.
Any warranty service must be performed solely and exclusively by SCHULZ AUTHORIZED DEALER.
C.
If the client wishes to have the service performed at home, the authorized technical assistant (SCHULZ AUTHORI-
ZED DEALER) has the right to charge a visit free.
D.
Not included in the warranty are: filter elements, bearings, pins, crankshaft, springs, bushings, on/off switch,
cables, carbon brushes, seals, mechanical seal. Only in cases where the SCHULZ AUTHORIZED DEALER finds ma-
nufacturing defects in the components above mentioned, they are SCHULZ COMPRESSORES S.A.'s responsibility.
E.
Warranty will not charge installation and cleaning services, damages to the external part of the product as well
as the ones that it may come to suffer due to improper use, tank oxidation due to improper draining, installation
not in accordance with the Instruction Manual, corrosive agents or other contaminants, neglect, external agents,
bad weather, modifications, use of improper accessories, poor dimensioning for the intended application, falls,
perforations, operation different form the directions of the Instruction Manual, power connections to improper
voltages, incorrect voltage conversion of the electric motor contrary to the purchase of the compressor or to power
lines subject to excessive variations or overloads.
F.
Schulz COMPRESSORES S.A will only give warranty to the electric motor and starters mounted at the factory and
only if the technical report issued by its technician informs defects in material and workmanship defect. Defects
resulting from bad installation are not covered by the warranty.
G.
No representative or dealer is authorized to receive the product from the customer and send it to SCHULZ AUTHO-
RIZED DEALER, or give any information on behalf of Schulz
Compressores

result of the noncompliance with the aforementioned.
H.
Any repairs or compensation for damages caused during transportation (round trip to SCHULZ AUTHORIZED DE-
ALER) performed by the customer are not covered by the warranty.
S.A. or SCHULZ AUTHORIZED DEALER will not answer for possible damages or delay as a
