• Before connecting your kettle to the power supply, make sure
that the voltage indicated on the bottom of your kettle and base
corresponds with the voltage in your home.
• Do not operate the appliance dry to avoid damaging the heat
elements. Always ensure there is water inside the appliance
before operating.
• Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when
not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter,
touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended
use.
• Should you accidentally operate the kettle without water, the
boil-dry protection will automatically switch it off. Should this
occur, allow the kettle to cool down before filling with cold water
and re-boiling.
• To prevent injury or damage from an overturned kettle, make
sure that your kettle is used on a firm and flat surface where
children cannot touch it.
• To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not
immerse power cord, power plug, or any parts of the kettle in
water or other liquids.
• Always make sure that you pour boiling water slowly and
carefully without tipping your kettle too fast.
• Be careful when opening the lid for refilling if your kettle is hot.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle for lifting and carrying
the kettle.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot water.
• Your kettle is not a toy. Do not let the children play with it.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
