From the underside of
the deck, set the black
rubber washers (P) on
top of the locking
washers (I) positioned
with the points up. The
tabs on the washers will
align with the groove in
the valve body. Tighten
the mounting nuts (K).
Use pliers to secure
nuts. Tighten the nuts
so that the points of the
metal washers are 1/16"
maximum from the
1/16"
underside of the deck.
Check that the
expansion nut is
threaded into the
bottom of the
adjustable shank (C).
Slide the adjustable
shank (C) into the
spout body (N) and
position the shank
so the flat sides are
directly above the
grooves.
Slide the chrome
clip (D) onto the
flats of the shank as
shown and slide
down until tabs lock
into the notches on
the valve body.
Thread the top
mounting nut (F)
onto the valve body
over the clip. The
nut secures the clip.
Place the assembled
shank into the deck
opening.

Tighten the mounting
nut (L). Check roll pin
location of mounting
nut (F). Use pliers to
secure nuts. Tighten
the nut so that the
points of the metal
washers are 1/16"
maximum from the
1/16"
underside of the
deck.
Slide the spout
shank (C) to the
lowest position.
Shank height can
be adjusted at
spout installation.
To secure the
shank, use a 3/8"
drive ratchet with a
6" extension (not
included or 150313
tool). Tighten the
expansion nut
inside of the shank
(C) by turning
clockwise before
pressure testing.
Thread in the test
plug (B) and pressure
test for leaks. Do
not reuse test plug

(B). NOTE: If pressure
testing exceeds 125
psi, replace test plug
(B) with brass test
plug from Service
Kit #100538. Slide
on valve covers (A)
and shank cover (O).
