1. This appliance should not be installed outdoors, even if the area is protected by a cover. It is very dangerous to
leave it exposed to rain and bad weather.
2. Children should be supervised to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
3. Never touch or handle the appliance with bare feet, or with wet hands or feet.
4. It is not advisable to use extensions or multiple plugs. If the fridge/freezer is installed between furniture, make
sure the electric cable is not bent or pressed dangerously.
5. Never pull the power cord or the fridge/freezer to release it from the wall socket: it is very dangerous.
6. Do not touch the internal cooling components, especially with wet hands, you may su er burns or injury. For the
same reason, you also should not place ice cubes in your mouth shortly after taking them out of the freezer.
7. Do not clean or perform maintenance operations before disconnecting the appliance from the electricity socket.
It is not su cient to set the temperature control button in the o position to eliminate all electrical risks.
8. Before disposing of your old appliance, remove any locks to prevent children playing with and being locked
inside the appliance.
9. In case of malfunction, read the "Product Maintenance" chapter, to check if it can be xed. Do not try to repair it
by tampering with the internal parts of the appliance.
10. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, by its after-sales service or a similarly
quali ed person in order to avoid a hazard.
11. Do not use electrical appliances inside the fridge/freezer, except those recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not use mechanical appliances or any other to speed up the defrosting process, except those recommended by
the manufacturer.
12. Do not store explosive substances in this appliance, such as aerosols containing ammable propellants.
13. This appliance should be used in household settings, or similar settings, such as:
- Kitchen areas reserved to personnel in shops, workshops and other professional environments,
- Cottages and by customers in hotels, motels and other residential-type settings,
- Hotel room-type settings,
- In restaurants and other similar settings, with the exception of retail trade.
14. At the end of the useful life of the appliance - which contains ammable gases, such as the pentane cycle in the
isolation foam and possibly R600a (isobutene) in the cooling circuit, it is necessary to ensure its disposal in accor-
dance with the legislation in force (WEEE).
The consumer should contact the local authorities or the point of sale, to request information about
disposal for recycling.
15. Do not damage the cooling circuit.
16. Keep the ventilation openings on the appliance or on the embedding structure clean and free of obstructions.
17. Carbonated drinks should not be stored in the freezer compartments. Some products, such as ice cubes, should
not be consumed too cold.
