Flushing and checking for leaks
IMPORTANT: After installation is complete, remove the
aerator with plastic wrench (V) from the faucet to ush the
water lines. Do not lose the gasket (1) in the aerator.

Turn on the water supply and allow both hot and cold water to run for at least one minute each. Unscrew
the hand shower (I), do not lose the gasket (2) in the hose (J). Hold hose (J) inside tub and press the pin (3)
to the bottom position. Flush faucet for at least one minute. This ushes away any debris that could cause
damage to internal parts. Check for leaks.

After ushing, turn the handle all the way off to shut off the water and reinstall the aerator and hand shower.
The pin should now be in its normal position. Re-tighten any connections if necessary, but do not overtighten.

To clean, wipe down with a damp cloth and dry with a towel.
□
Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals when cleaning this faucet, or the warranty will
be voided.

Problem
There are leaks from the
handle.
The water will not shut off
completely.
There are leaks from the
diverter.
Possible Cause
The bonnet nut has come loose and/or the
washer is dirty or damaged.
The cartridge is dirty or broken.
The diverter has come loose and/or the
diverter is damaged.

Solution
Tighten the bonnet nut.
Clean or replace the washer.
Remove the handle to check
the cartridge.
Clean or replace.
Tighten the diverter with open
end wrench.
Replace the diverter.
