INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
ASSEMBLING
• Before using the coffee maker place the tray (8) in the base of the coffee maker inserting it and
pushing it (Fig. A).
• Next, insert the spout (7) in the hole of the front side of the coffee maker (Fig. B).
COFFEE
• Pour water in the tank (1). To take out the tank lift up and remove it outwards.
• Replace the water tank to its original position pressing it a little bit.
• Be sure that the "PREPARADO" switch light is not down.
• Plug the appliance into the mains and push the "ENCENDIDO" switch (5). This switch will light
on.
• While the appliance is warming up, put some coffee in the filter (9) and press it down slightly.
• Place the filter lid (10) over the filter with the flat side upwards and making coincide the 3 flanges
in its place.
• Open the lid (2) by lifting up the flange (3) as showed in the "figure C" and place the filter in its
place. The handle must be fixed in the frontal part of the coffee maker. (Fig. D).
• Next, close the lid, pressing until it is correctly fixed.
• Wait until the "PREPARADO" pilot light is on. When this switch is on the coffee maker is ready
for using.
• Please one or two cups under the spout (7) and press the "PREPARADO" switch. The coffee will
start to go out in a short period of time.
ATTENTION: The first time you use the appliance, the coffee may take more time to flow
as the pump must drain and fill the circuits with water. This will happen only in the
first time you use the coffee maker or if the tank and the circuits have been without
water.
• In case no coffee should come out, stop the coffee maker and check that the tank in correctly
placed.
• When the coffee dose is as you like, push the "PREPARADO". Otherwise the coffee will still
flowing and the cups will be overflow.
SINGLE DOSE FILTER (11)
• Use this filter only with 60 mm. soft single pods. Place the pod on the filter and follow the
same instructions to make coffee.
INFUSIONS
BAGS
• With bags you must use the single dose filter (11).
• Remove the label of the infusion bag and place the bag in the filter, trying to avoid coming out
from the filter.
BULK TEAS
• If you are using bulk teas you must use the coffee filter (9).
• Pour in this filter the desired amount of bulk tea and place the lid (10).
In both cases follow the steps indicated in the COFFEE paragraph.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
• Clean the tray and the filters with soap and water.
• For cleaning take out the spout (7) by pushing it outwards.
• The outside of the appliance may be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use cleaning abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers and the such, which may
deteriorate the surfaces of the appliance.
• It is convenient to clean the alkaline deposits at least once a year. To do so, use an alkaline cleaner
apt for coffee machines.
