The hot adhesive sets after approx. 30 sec.
depending on the material: Important: In this
phase, adjustments can still be made to the fi t
of the parts to be bonded.
The adhesive cartridges with a diameter of 7
millimetres can be advanced sensitively with a
lever mechanism.
Before operation
Charge battery
The battery was not fully charged at the time
of delivery. Please charge it completely before
working with the tool!
Caution!
Check that the voltage of your local mains sup-
ply matches the information on the charger!
Caution!
Use the charger included in the scope of de-
livery. The charger supplied is matched to the
Li-ion battery installed in your power tool.
1. To charge the battery, plug the charger into
a socket outlet and connect the USB socket
of the charger and the micro USB charging
socket on the rear housing part of the de-
vice with the charging cable (Fig. 2).
It is normal for the battery and the charger
to heat up slightly during charging!
2. The red LED (2, Fig. 1) glows during the
charging process. The lighting up of the
green battery light 3 (Fig. 1) indicates that
the charging process is completed and the
battery is fully charged. The process takes
about one hour.
3. You can then disconnect the charging cable
from the charging socket and remove the
charger from the socket.

Note!
The battery of the device can be charged at any
time without affecting the life of the device. If
the charging process is interrupted, the battery
will not be damaged.
Working with the device
Caution!
The nozzle and the adhesive reach a tempe-
rature of 135-170 °C during operation. Do not
touch! Risk of burns!
1. Switch on the unit by pressing and holding
(min. 3 seconds) the Pos. 1 key (Fig. 1). The
LEDs 2 and 3 (Fig. 1) glow red or green.
2. To heat up the device, pull out the stand and
place the device on it. This is also a con-
venient way to put the device down during
breaks.
3. After a heating time of approx. 40 seconds, the
device can be used. If the battery charge level
falls below 30 %, the green LED goes out.
4. Carefully clean and dry the bonding surface.
Remove any grease fi lm with solvent.
5. Operate the feed lever sensitively and apply
the adhesive to one side of the work piece.
The adhesive should not be applied over a
large area, but in dots: The larger the area,
the larger the dots. For fl exible materials
(carpet, cardboard, textiles, etc.), the ad-
hesive can also be applied in a snake-like
pattern.
6. Insert spare cartridges into the holder as
shown in Fig. 3
7. To switch off the cordless hot glue gun,
press the ON/OFF switch (1, Fig. 1) until the
red LED (2) goes out.
The cordless hot glue gun switches off automa-
tically if it is not used for more than 5 minutes!
