During processing of certain materials, poisonous or combustible dusts and fumes can be created. Work in well ventilated areas
and use personal protective equipment.
When you are selecting safeguard measures you should take into account the type of workpiece.
You should make sure, that sparks and debris created during operation do not cause any hazards.
Use personal protective equipment such as gloves, apron, helmet.
In the case of dropped tools with a mounted grinding wheel, before subsequent switching it on, you should carefully check the
condition of the grinding wheel.
OPERATING OF THE TOOL
Before each use, you should check that none of the components of the product is damaged. If you notice any damage, you should
replace the element immediately with new one, undamaged system component.
Before each use of the the pneumatic system, you should dry the moisture condensed inside the tool, compressor and pipes.
ATTENTION! To power the pneumatic tool you should use only compressed air. It is forbidden to use any other gas for
that purpose, especially flammable gases.
Connecting the tool to pneumatic system
The figure shows the recommended connection of tool to the pneumatic system. Presented method will ensure the most efficient
use of tool, and also it will extend the service life of the tool.
Let a few drops of oil with viscosity SAE 10 to the air intake.
To the thread of air inlet tightly and firmly screw the appropriate tip allowing for the connection of an air supply hose (II).
On the tool driver you should mount an appropriate grinding wheel. If the grinding wheel has a specified direction of rotation, then it
must be consistent with the direction of rotation on the tool. Make sure, the grinding wheel is designed to work with pneumatic
tools, and its permissible rotational speed is equal to or higher than the rotational speed of the grinder.
Make sure, that the switch – speed regulator was rotated in the position marked "OFF" (III).
Connect the tool to an air system by using the hose with an inner diameter of 10 mm / 3/8 ". Make sure, that the strength of the
hose is at least 1.38 MPa.
Run the tool for a few seconds by turning the switch – speed controller to the stop in the direction of the position marked "ON".
Make sure, that the tool does not issue any suspicious sounds or vibrations.
Adjust the rotational speed by using the switch - speed control. Rotation in the direction marked "ON" increases the speed and in
the direction of the "OFF" reduces the speed until the cessation of rotation.
Installation and replacement of equipment (V)
Make sure, that the maximum rotational speed is higher, than the rotational speed of the grinder. You should follow the recom-
mendations of manufacturers of grinding wheels in relation to their speed and the mandrel length, which should be mounted in
the spindle.
Make sure, that the grinder has been disconnected from the compressed air supply.
By blocking with one key possibility of the spindle rotation, you should by using the second key loosen the nut of the tool holder.
Mount a piece of equipment, so at least 10 mm of the mandrel is located inside the spindle.
By using keys, tightly and firmly screw the nut which is locking the spindle. Remove keys before connecting the tool to pneumatic
system with compressed air.
The grinder is equipped with air lubricator, which you can use when the compressed air supply system is not equipped with and
lubricator. Lubricator should be installed at the inlet of compressed air to the tool, then you should screw to it the appropriate tip,
which will allow for an air inlet hose connection (VI).
On the case of the lubricator there is the screw (VII), which is an oil tank valve, after unscrewing it, you should fill in the tank with
oil designed for use in pneumatic tools, SAE viscosity 10, and then close the oil tank valve by tightening the screw. The lubricator
optimal position for work is a vertical position with the air inlet facing downwards. During work you should regularly refill oil.
Operation of the sander
Choose the appropriate tool for a given operation mode. Before starting work, you must allow for grinding wheel to reach its full
speed. Only the rotating grinding wheel should be applied to a workpiece.
You should apply only such pressure to the tool, which is required for the material processing. Too much pressure can damage
the grinding wheels and increase the risk of injuries.
During work the sparks can occur and workpiece fragments of the workpiece can tear off. You should ensure that the that sparks
and tear-off fragments would not create risks in the workplace.
MAINTENANCE
Never use gasoline, solvent, or any other flammable liquid to clean the tool. The vapors can be ignited, causing the tool explosion
and serious injury.
