Proposed solutions
Take off the burner that have a yellow
flame and replace it for test purposes
by one of the other (working) burners
that you have also dismantled. Test to
see if it will have good color of flame:
• If the «replacement» burner (used
for the test) have yellow flames. This
means that the injector is not well
placed. Thus, there is too much air
in the air/gas ratio which causes the
appearance of yellow flames. Contact
your dealer.
• If the « replacement » burner (used
for the test) does not have yellow
flames. This means that the initial
burner is blocked. Clean it with
compressed air (generally available
from your dealer).
• Clean the barbecue
• Always use the barbecue with the
flame protectors correctly positioned
over the burners
• Purchase a hose compliant with
Norm NF D 36125 or Norm XP D
36112 (threaded nuts G1/2 and
M20×1.5 respectively).
• Check which way round the hose
must be connected. Attention the 2
nozzles on the hose are different: one
(black-coloured) is for connection
to the regulator, the other for
connection to the G1/2 threaded gas
inlet head of the barbecue.
