Auto switch-on (or auto-re-
sponse) on AB4G
AB4G allows calls from administrator
numbers stored in parameters TN1-TN5
to be answered and open the conversa-
tion with AB4G itself. For this service to
be enabled, all the configurations listed
below must be fulfilled:
- the administrator number(s) which
must be able to activate the AB4G
auto-answer must also be stored
in KPAx parameters. This situation
implies that if there is a button in
the handset which can send the call
to the x-th user, the administrator
whose number has also been stored
in KPAx can receive a call. Therefore
proceed either by storing the number
it is possible to TN1 and also in KPA1
and installing the blind button AB20
on the first position of the AB4G, or by
storing this number in KPA200 i.e. in a
group which, unless one has a digital
handset and display, cannot be called;
- set for SL a number >=x;
- set the RAN parameter with a value
ranging from 0 to 20 and indicating
the number of rings after which AB4G
answers. A value of 0 indicates that
the service is disabled.

gramming: ;TN1=3334455677;K-
PA200=3334455677;SL=200;RAN=2;
Remote access control. CLIP
functionality.
The CLIP function enables remote ac-
cess control. Without being physically
present at the installation site, it is
possible to enable a guest to enter (the
B&B customer is a typical example) or
to arrive in front of your own driveway
gate and, without the need for a remote
control or without getting out of the
car, activate the gate opening. The two
AB4G outputs can be activated from
your smartphone, simply by generating
a call to the SIM number on board the
AB4G. Without any telephone charge,
the chosen exit is activated after the
first ring. The described functionality
is available for all users whose phone
number is stored in the KPA, KPB and
KPC parameters (600 numbers) and
for a further 200 phone numbers that
will be stored in the CLPx parameters
(CLP1÷CLP200). The set of parameters
used for this functionality are:
- CLP1-CLP200 parameters in which
the additional 200 CLIP numbers are
stored,
- CLPEN enabling parameter for the
functionality. It can take on the val-
ues:
0=function disabled,
1= (factory setting) function enabled
for users whose telephone numbers
are stored in parameters KPA, KPB,
KPC and parameters CLP1÷CLP200,
2=function enabled for any
calling telephone
.
Attention: with CLPEN=2 any
telephone calling the telephone
number of the AB4G module
activates the relays controlled
by the CLIP function (lack of
security).
- CLPOU parameter for selecting the
output to be activated. It can assume
the values
1= (factory setting) activation of out-
put 1,
2= activation of output 2.
- CLPI parameter to bind the activation
of the output to the state of one of
the inputs. It can take on the values
0= (factory setting) no constraint,
1= the output is activated if the same
condition occurs at input 1 that gen-
erates an alarm event. A clock could
be connected to input 1 to enable the
CLIP function at certain times only.
2= exactly as described for value 1
but referring this time to input 2.
- CLAD CLIP call answering mode pa-
rameter. It may take the values
0= (factory setting) the call is rejected
and the selected output is activated
at the same time,
1= (may be necessary with some op-
erators/smartphones) the call is an-
swered, the chosen output is activated
and finally AB4G hangs up. Attention:
Depending on your tariff plan, this
option may generate charges.

- HTN is the parameter used to hide the
phone number of the AB4G device.
You can send an SMS with the text:
;HTN=0; to make anonymous calls;
or one with the text: ;HTN=1; to send
your own number.(factory setting);
- ;UDC=+443605656444; (where
+443605656444 is the hypothetical
number of the SIM inserted in AB4G)
is used to synchronise the clock of
the AB4G device with the clock of the
radio network.
- ;MIC=x; (with x=0 minimum and x÷40
maximum) allows you to change the
sensitivity level of the microphone.
- ;SPK=x; (x=0 minimum ÷ 20 maximum)
allows you to change the amplification
level of the loudspeaker.

riod of time, in hours, after which an
