3 Product Overview
3.1 Intended use
The walking aid is intended to support during walking.
The walking aid is suitable for indoor and outdoor use on
even ground.
The intended user is an adult with a maximum user weight
as stated on the product label and in chapter 7 Technical
Data, page 5 .
3.2 Indications for Use
Indications
Persons with impaired muscle strength and/or balance,
who need additional support whilst walking. The remaining
walking and cognitive ability must be sufficient for safe use
of a walking aid.
Contraindications
Persons with severe equilibrium disorders or functional
perceptual disorders.

4 Usage
4.1 Before Use
CAUTION!
Risk of Injury or Damage to Property
– Before use, verify the general functionality of
the product.
– Before use, check the product for any defect.
– Do not use a defective product.
Invacare presume a healthcare professional has made an
individual assessment of the user to determine his risk level
or therapy requirements. Providers and carers have assessed
that the product gives the required support and that its
adjustments are appropriate for the user. Carer and user
have been appropriately trained by a healthcare professional
on how to use the product correctly and safely.
4.2 Adjusting the height
Recommended height
– The handles should be positioned at wrist
height when standing straight with relaxed
arms. Therapist may suggest different heights
depending on specific needs of the client.
Discomfort/Minor bruises
– Be careful of the pinching risk.
A
1. Press the snap button A.
2. Slide the extension up or down until the desired height
is achieved.
3. Allow the snap button A to click into the next hole.
Make sure that the button is fully engaged with an
audible "click".
4.3 Walking
1. Stand between the two side frames and hold both hands
on the handles.
2. Stand still and move/slide the walking aid forwards.
3. Take a step forwards while holding the walking aid
steady.
4.4 Using leg extensions
WARNING!
Risk of falling
– When using wheeled attachments on the front
legs, the rear leg extensions must be adjusted
to make the side frames level.
– When applicable, wheeled leg extensions must
be installed with the wheels on the outside of
the walkerwalking frame.
