Method 2: QR Code Mode
Follow these steps to add the Smart Treat Dispenser to the App.
1. Turn the Smart Treat Dispenser on. Make sure the LED indicator light is flashing
blue quickly, your phone is connected to your home
Bluetooth is on.
2. Launch the RCA Smart Home app and tap Add Device or tap
device on the home screen, go to "Add Manually" menu, select Smart Camera, and
the mode option menu next to the icon
Confirm the LED light is flashing blue (If the LED indicator light is not flashing blue, press
and hold the WiFi Reset button
enter the network connection screen.
Note: If the feeder isn't connected to the App after the LED indicator flashes blue, the
blue light will go out in 5 minutes. You can reset it by pressing and holding the WiFI
Reset Button for about 15 seconds.
3. Select your Wi-Fi network name and enter the password, then tap Next to proceed.
Note: Your phone and app must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
4. A QR Code will shown on the screen. Scan the QR code by the camera on the feeder,
holding your phone at a distance of 15-20 mm far from the camera. When the QR code is
recognized, you will hear a tone prompt. Tap " I hear a prompt" to proceed.
5. Wait until the blue light stops flashing, and the "Added." and the icon
the screen to indicate that the connection is complete.
