SEMI-AUTOMATIC LOADING OF THE REEL
1.
Remove the lawn mowing carriage from the drive shaft by turning clockwise. To prevent the drive shaft from
rotating together with the reel, lock them by securing an L-shaped wrench (enclosed) through the holes (1).
2.
Place the lawn mower head (A) on a solid surface, then press down and turn the damper (B) clockwise to the
right until the holes in the mowing line are aligned (C) and you can see through the head.
3.
Insert the new string (D) through the lawn mower head so that the lengths of string on each side of the
head are the same.
4.
Hold the lawn mower head firmly, then turn the damper clockwise to roll it into the cutting line. Stop
winding when there is approximately 50 mm (2") of cutting line outside the head.

Use nylon thread to cut grass, grass, weeds and small woody plants.
MOUNTING AND ADJUSTING THE PRUNER
ATTENTION: The cutting blades are very sharp. Do not handle the cutter assembly unless the
protective cover of the blade is in place.
ATTENTION: Make sure that the "cutter bar" is locked in the storage/transport position (folded
back) and the protective cover is installed over the cutting blades when not in use.
1.
Grasp the handle behind the hand guard with your right hand, and with your left hand, grasp the adjustment
lever of the blade assembly.
2.
With the index finger of your left hand, press the release latch. With your left thumb, press the locking latch.
3.
The cutting blade can be adjusted in various positions.
4.
Remove the cover from the cutting blade. Now you can start the engine.
