Unplug the plug from the socket before cleaning the
appliance.

Always hold the appliance on both sides at the bot-
tom of the housing to move it. Never pull the power
cord to move the appliance.
Avoid tilting the appliance more than 45°.
Wait for the appliance to reach room temperature.
To empty the water tanks, place the appliance carefully at the edge of the work-
top so that the side of the appliance with the water drainage holes extends
about 4 cm over the edge of the worktop and place a suitable container (of at
least 2 L capacity) underneath.
Alternatively, place the appliance over a drain, such as the drainer of a sink.
Make sure the appliance is fixed and cannot tilt.
Remove the closures from both drains and allow any remaining water to drain
completely from the appliance.
Seal both closures, return the appliance to the upright position and clean it.
