CLEANING & CARE
• Do not allow water to enter the device.
• Use a moist cloth to clean the outside of the housing.
• Only clean the device with a dry or moist cloth. Do not add any chemical additives.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, steel wool or metal objects to clean the
device.
• Clean the device regularly for long lasting enjoyment.
• Keep ventilation slots clean and free of dust.
• For stubborn stains, add two or three drops of detergent to the water. Dry all parts
with a clean cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING

Potential cause
The ON/OFF switch is in
OFF position.
The ambient brightness is
too high.
The battery in the solar
module is discharged.
The battery power is
reduced, battery should be
replaced.
The battery has not been
charged su ciently during
the day.
Remedy
Move the switch on the undersi-
de of the solar module to ON.
Make sure that the ambient
brightness surrounding the solar
module is under 20 lux (For
reference: dusk is equivalent to 1
lux and street lighting to 10lux).
Charge up the battery during
the daytime by placing the
device in direct sunlight (with
the ON/OFF switch in the ON
position). Alternatively, remove
the battery and charge it with an
external battery charger.
Replace the battery as described
in the Tips / Notes section.
Ensure that the solar module
is exposed to direct sunlight
during the day.
