Cleaning before use
1. Wipe the baking surfaces with a damp cloth.
2. Then dry the baking surfaces with a soft cloth.
Getting started
1. Place the waffle iron on an easily accessible, flat, dry,
and sufficiently stable surface.
2. Lightly grease the baking surfaces with a little butter
or cooking oil.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed socket.
The waffle iron is starting to heat up. The red indi-
cator light is turned on. When the green indicator
light turns on, the waffle iron is ready to use.
When you heat the waffle iron for the first time,
a fine smoke haze and odour may develop. This
is normal because the internal components are
heating up for the first time.
