manual supplied with your charger and battery.
Removing/Inserting the Battery
To remove the battery, push in the release buttons
and pull the battery pack away from the tool.
Always lock the trigger or remove

the battery pack any time the tool
is not in use.
To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body
of the tool. Make sure it latches securely into place.
Only use accessories specifically
WARNING
recommended for this tool. Others
may be hazardous.

eye protection marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1.
Changing the Cutting Wheel
Replace the cutting wheel when it becomes dull or
damaged.
1. Insert the battery pack.
2. Press the Mode button
modes until the carriage opening mode indicator
is lit. Squeeze and hold the trigger to line up
the carriage.
3. WARNING! Remove battery to avoid starting the tool.
4. Remove the clip ring.
5. Slide out the wheel axle.
6. Remove the cutting wheel.
7. Insert the new cutting wheel.
8. Align all spring, jaw, and cutting wheel holes.
9. Slide the wheel axle through the spring, jaw, and
cutting wheel, and hold it in with your index finger.
10. Replace the clip ring.

Fuel Gauge
To determine the amount of charge left in the battery,
turn the tool ON. The fuel gauge will light up for 2-3
seconds. When less than 10% of charge is left, 1
light on the fuel gauge will flash 4 times.
To signal the end of charge, 1 light on the fuel gauge
will flash 8 times and the tool will not run in cutting
mode. The tool can temporarily run in carriage open-
ing mode to return the carriage to its open position.

If the battery becomes too hot, the fuel gauge lights
will flash and the tool will not run. Allow the battery
to cool down.
The sight-line window has an LED to allow for better
accuracy in dark areas. The LED will remain lit for a
few minutes after the tool is turned on, the trigger is
pulled, or the Mode button
is pressed.
Using the Control Panel
The control panel can be set to three modes: car-
riage open, cutting, and lock. Always allow the motor
to come to a complete stop before using the control
switch.
1. To insert or remove tubing, press the mode button
to cycle through the modes. When the carriage
opening mode indicator
hold the trigger to line up the carriage. The car-
riage will return to the open position and the jaws
will unlock from the workpiece.
2. To cut, press the mode button
the modes until the cutting mode indicator
lit. See "Cutting".
3. To lock or unlock the tool, hold the mode
for two seconds. The lock indicator

To reduce the risk of injury, wear
WARNING
gloves when cutting. Cut tubing
can be sharp. Do not hold end of tubing. Cutter
will rotate tubing when trigger is pulled creating
a laceration hazard.
Keep hands away from all cutting edges
and moving parts. Fingers can be pulled
into cutting carriage and be cut or
crushed.
Do not cut off pieces of tubing less than

1/2" long. Small pieces can be pulled
into moving carriage and damage tool.
The tubing cutter can cut copper tubing from 1-1/4"
to 2" (trade size). Always support the workpiece to
prevent rotating and moving during cutting.

NOTE: If the cutting carriage has locked in place
and will not move freely in carriage open position,
run the tool in cutting mode for several seconds,
then run in carriage opening mode again to line
up the cutting carriage.
