VII. Recording and play back mode
The Betzold recording microphone records the files in
the WAV format. However, you can play back files in
the WAV format as well as in the MP3 format.
VIII. Switching between the recordings
While a song is played back or stopped
1. Press the arrow button for the previous or next
song, to go to the selected song.
2. When the device is in the standby mode, it is not
possible to switch between the recordings.
3. Press the blue play back button once again, to con-
tinue the play back.

IX. Deleting a recording
Select the recording and press the Pause button
1. Press the red recording button and keep it pressed
for 5 seconds.
2. Subsequently, the status LED flickers and lights
green.
3. The recording will be deleted from the memory.
X. Connection to a PC or Mac
1. Switch off the recording microphone.
2. Plug the recording microphone into a USB port.
3. The PC or Mac recognises the device as USB mass
storage device and it is displayed as removable
drive in the file explorer window.
4. The tracks which you have recorded are displayed
in the folder "Record". Use the same folder to copy
WAV or MP3 files and to play back on the recording
microphone.

XI. Pause function or stopping a recording
1. Press the blue Play button, to play back a song. The
status LED constantly lights green.
2. Press the blue pause button, to stop the song at
the current position. The status LED flashes green.
