BEFORE FI RST U SE
- Remove all packaging materials and check the device and accessories
for damages.
- Clean the device as described under cleaning and care. Heed all safety
instructions while doing so.
GET T I N G ST ART ED

Heat the device up, once on level 3 and then twice on level 7, without
bread, in order to remove manufacturing residues. In doing so, ensure
sufficient ventilation of the room (e.g.: open window).
A faint odour may develop during this initial heating. However, this is
harmless and only lasts a short time.
N ORM AL T OAST I N G
1. Completely unwind the mains cable from the cable spool (8) and run it
through the cable guide on the underside of the toaster. Connect the
mains plug to a suitable socket.
2. Insert one slice of bread into each of the bread slots (2).
3. Set the browning control (6) to the desired browning level in the range
of 1-7. For the first use, we recommend using level 3-1 is the lightest and
7 is the darkest level of browning. Keep in mind that the browning can
turn out differently from one type of bread to another. it is therefore
recommended that you perform multiple trials in ordre to obtain the
optimum degree of browning.
