Adjusting the guide track
for workpiece thickness
(1) Lift the guide track as you shift it toward
the outfeed end to fully close the hinges.
(2) Loosen both mounting-plate star-knobs
and lower the track onto the table. Leave
the knobs loose.
(3) Place the workpiece under the
guide track.
(4) For workpieces ½" and thicker,
raise the hinge upright at one end to fully
close the hinge.
(5) Lower the hinge upright
slightly open the hinge.
(6) Tighten the star-knob. Repeat at the
other end.
ATTENTION:
Slightly lowering the hinge uprights ensures that
the guide track rests on the workpiece allowing full contact between the
anti-slip strips and the workpiece.
