Using the Miter Guide
(1) Install the Miter Guide in the table track
with the adjustable fence facing the infeed
end of the table. The width of the
workpiece determines which track to use.
Position the Miter Guide as close as
possible to the guide track.
(2) Position the workpiece under the guide
track and against the Miter Guide fence.
Apply moderate pressure to the center of
the Miter Guide to avoid deflecting the fence.
(3) Lower the guide track onto workpiece and
make the cut.
ATTENTION:
Always position the Miter Guide so cutting pressure
is toward, not away from, the guide.
ATTENTION:
For best results when making 90° and 45° cuts,
do not use the Miter Guide. Position the workpiece with Versa-Stops.
