5. Select the desired browning setting by pressing the button "+"
or "-", the display will show the selected number from 1 to 6
with the browning dots. (No.1-lightest, No.6-darkest).
NOTE: When using the toaster for the first time we suggest
you toast on number 3. Varying types of bread and personal
preference may require a different browning setting.
6. As the toasting time goes, the dots will disappear one after
another. The toaster turns off when the toasting time is
complete and the carriage pops up raises the toast. The
toasting process can be stopped at any time by pressing the
cancel button.
TOASTING FROZEN BREAD
To toast frozen bread, place the bread into the bread slots and
press the carriage control lever down until it clicks into place,
wait for 3 seconds then press the defrost button. The defrost icon
will appear on the display. The desired browning setting can be
set by pressing the button "+" or "-".
BAGEL BUTTON
Load the toaster with the cut sides of the bagel facing out and
press the carriage control lever down until it clicks into place,
wait for 3 seconds then press the bagel button. The bagel icon
will appear on the display and the middle heating element will
turn off. The desired browning setting can be set by pressing the
button "+" or "-".
