5. use
- Always hold the handlebar with both hands and place one foot on the deck.
- Keep the other foot on the ground to maintain balance and prevent accidents.
- Push off with your foot on the ground to get the scooter moving.
- By tilting the handlebars, you can change the direction of travel. CAUTION: the greater the tilt, the tighter the turn.
Risk of falling at higher speed!
- In curves, tilt slightly to keep your balance better.
- Step on the brake pedal on the rear wheel to brake (see arrow in illustration).
- Use the same foot for braking as for pushing off.
- For novice riders, keep in mind: Practice driving, and especially braking and cornering, on a perfectly flat and dry surface.
6. Wheel exchange
- CAUTION: Assembly work on the scooter must be carried out correctly in terms of craftsmanship, otherwise risk of accident!
- Have the rollers replaced when they are worn.
- We recommend replacing the ball bearings along with the rollers.
- To change the rollers, first loosen the axle screw connection with two size 5 Allen keys.
Then remove the rollers from the axle.
- The ball bearings can be pushed out of the wheel with an Allen key or a screwdriver if they are to be reused.
- Place the bearings with spacer sleeve in the new wheels, then mount the rollers on the frame with the axle screws.
Make sure that the axles are screwed tightly.
7. Maintenance, care and cleaning
- Store the scooter in a safe place that protects the scooter from access by small children.
- Check the fixation of all screws and nuts after assembly and before each use of the device.
- Only clean the scooter with a cloth.
- For further maintenance, follow the instructions in the chapters ‚Safety instructions' and ‚Assembly' (items 2 and 4 of these
operating instructions).
