Safety instructions
Other passengers must not stay within the resilient seat area. It is particularly forbidden
to bring arms, legs or other body limbs under the seat suspension! Risk of injury!
To prevent injury, no objects should be placed within the moving area of the boat
seat.
Boat seats that have been adjusted incorrectly have a smaller moving area.
To prevent personal injury, the weight adjustment must be adjusted to the individual
weight of the respective person prior to every commissioning of the boat and when-
ever another person uses the seat.
Before using the boat, remove eventually existing packaging material from the seat
and backrest cushions.
To eliminate any risk of accident, the settings mechanisms must be checked to ensure
they are correctly engaged before the boat is driven.
Adjustments of the boat seat must not be made while driving.
For safety reasons, other passengers must not hold on to the backrest while driving.
If you make any changes to the standard boat seat (for example fitting parts which
are not original parts made by GRAMMER AG), it may no longer meet the safety stand-
ards to which it is tested. Functions may be impaired, threatening your safety. For this
reason, any change in design of the seat must be approved by GRAMMER AG.
For removal and installation of the boat seat, the corresponding seat installation instruc-
tions by the boat manufacturer must be strictly observed.
Make sure that the seat pedestal or seat console is sufficiently stable and that it is firmly
attached to the boat. GRAMMER disclaims any warranty obligations for the seat pedes-
tal or seat console used.
Fasteners must be checked regularly for tightness. If the boat seat wobbles, this
might indicate loose bolts, an incorrect screw length or other defects.
If you notice that the boat seat does not function correctly (for example a defective sus-
pension or damaged bellows), contact a specialist workshop immediately to arrange
for repairs to be carried out.
If you fail to do so, your health may be affected and the risk of accident increased.
Do not indent the bellows while there is load on the boat seat.
– RISK OF CRUSHING –
Make sure that the interior of the boat seat remains free of foreign particles.
