Operating instructions
Proper operation of the log chipper
1.) Load a log on the beam and against the ram plate.
2.) Serious accidents can occur when other people are allowed to enter the work zone. Keep
everyone else out of the work area while operating the control valve.
3.) Push the control valve handle FORWARD to divide the trunk.
4.) Push the control valve handle BACK to return the wedge to its original position.
5.) Remove the split wood from the work area.
Danger of crushing.
The wedge can cut the skin and break the bones. Keep both hands away
from the wedge and the sliding beam.
-Serious accidents can occur when other people are allowed into the work
area. Keep everyone else out of the work area while operating the control
valve.
-Do not wear loose-fitting clothing. It can get entangled in the moving parts
of the log chipper.
-Use the log chipper only in daylight so you can see what you are doing.
