INTRODUCTION
Thank you for trusting in Mondial. It is the perfect accessory for food lovers. To ensure
proper operation and maintenance of the product, carefully read the instructions in this
manual and keep it in the event that you may need in the future. We recommend that you
also keep the packaging in case of repairs, and dispose of all plastic bags that could
become dangerous toys for children.
The appliance is very easy to use. Just connect it to the electricity supply socket (220-250V).
This product is designed to boil water and for the preparation of teas or infusions. It should
not be used to boil milk or prepare coffee because they can damage the unit.

Advice:
The use of Mondial appliances by children needs clear instructions of use and
constant supervision during use of the appliance.
OPERATION
The instrument consists of the following parts, see fig. A:
Before using the appliance:
Unpack the appliance.

Clean the Coffee-Maker and the nonstick heating plate with a wet cloth. Before the
first utilization and for a better functioning, it is advisable to make it work twice only
with water and at its maximum level (follow the instructions on how to Prepare your
Coffee).
Wait 10 minutes, turn the Coffee-Maker switch off and throw the jar water away.

Repeat the operation whenever your coffee-maker is not in use for a long time.

prepare 20 cups of approximately 50 ml each.

How to prepare your coffee
Connect the plug to the power socket (compatible with the machine voltage).

Measure the water volume through the data printed in the glass jar handle. The
water quantity to be used depends on the desired number of coffee cups. Put the
water in the container when the coffee-maker is turned off.
Put the jar on the nonstick base. Only turn the coffee-maker on when the jar is

correctly fitted in.

Using the dosing spoon put the necessary coffee quantity into the permanent filter
located in the filter holder. If preferred, a paper filter No. 102 can also be used in the
Mondial Digital Thermal Smart Day COFFEE-MAKER.
Note: Use the coffee of your preference, but observe that due to the water
evaporation and absorption by the coffee powder during the process, the coffee
quantity shall be minimally reduced compared to the water quantity placed into the
container. A variation due to the coffee power granulation can also take place.

To switch the equipment on, press the on/off button and the red light of the Pilot
Lamp shall illuminate. In few minutes your coffee shall be ready to be served.

The Digital Thermal Smart Day COFFEE-MAKER is equipped with a drop
avoiding system, which automatically interrupts the dripping during the coffee
preparing cycle. The jar can be removed to serve a coffee cup and in the sequence
return to the coffee-maker base to complement the operation.
IMPORTANT: The jar should be returned to the nonstick heating base in less than 1
minute, so as to avoid overflowing.
To avoid accidents, do not complete the water during the preparing cycle when the

container is empty and the equipment turned on. Only supply or add more water
when some liquid is still available.

After the use turn the coffee-maker off, putting the on/off button in the position "0",
and remove the plug from the power socket.
To prepare your tea
Your Mondial Digital Thermal Smart Day COFFEE-MAKER is also ideal to prepare your
tea. Follow the coffee preparation instructions, substituting the coffee power by a tea of
your preference.

To keep your coffee or tee warm

This equipment has a stainless steel thermal jar that keeps your coffee or tee warm
for a long time.
˃
Your coffee or tea can be kept warm by keeping the jar on the heating plate and the
coffee-maker turned on (the Pilot Lamp should remain lighted).
˃
The equipment counts on a thermostat that keeps your coffee at the ideal
temperature. However, after some time, the liquid evaporation shall change the
taste of your coffee.
It is advisable to let your coffee warming up for no longer than 1 hour. If you whish to

make more coffee, turn the equipment off and wait from 5 to 6 minutes.

Do not allow that all the liquid of the jar evaporates when the coffee-maker is on.
