FAULT DIAGNOSIS
The following simple checks may be performed by the operator. If the machine is still not working, please contact your local
Service Agent:
Trouble
Machine fails to start – no power
Machine fails to pick up water
from the floor
Drum not rotating
Drum is rotating, but brushes are
not
Machine fails to spray solution
onto the floor
Motor makes a humming noise
but does not turn
The machine is vibrating
The steam generator does not
produce steam
*If the fuse blows several times, the machine should be checked by an authorised Service Agent

Reason
•
Transport working lever is in bottom
position (see pictorial guide)
•
Motor overload protector has tripped
•
Transport wheels not raising off the
ground when handle lowered
•
Lack of voltage / electrical supply
•
Incorrectly fitted / damaged
recovery tank Blocked hose or wand
•
Worn brushes
•
Drum not rotating
•
Debris around drum or base of
machine
•
Debris around brushes
•
Faulty pump
•
Improper water hose connection
•
No solution in solution tank
•
Blocked jet
•
Blocked inline filter
•
Blocked filter or faulty valve in
solution tank
•
Debris around drum and base of the
machine
•
Bristles on the brushes are
deformed
•
No water in the water tank
•
Faulty pump
•
Steam nozzle clogged with limescale
•
Steam unit switch is Faulty
•
Check steam fuse F3, pump fuse F4
•
Thermostat (TST1) is tripped.
•
Thermostat (TST2) when reaching its
set temperature it trips
Remedy
•
Change to operating position (see pictorial
guide)
•
Wait for 1 hour to allow the motor
temperature to reach room temperature.
Then try again
•
Check for debris and clean machine
•
Check fuse *, power cord, plug and socket
outlet
•
Refit or replace recovery tank
•
Check brush pressure, if needed replace
brushes
•
See below
•
Clean drum and base of the machine.
•
Clean or replace brushes
•
If there is no noise present from the pump,
check that the pump cable is fitted
correctly.
•
Check the quick lock connector for proper
fitting
•
Fill solution tank
•
Clean jet
•
Clean inline filter
•
Clean / replace filter or valve
•
Clean drum and base of machine
•
Soak brushes in a bucket of water
•
Replace both brushes
•
Fill with clean cold water.
•
Contact service agent
•
Descale
•
Contact service agent
•
If the fuse is blown, replace it with the same
rating. (If fuse blows again please contact
service agent.)
•
Please contact a service agent.
•
It will self reset automatically and normal
operation will resume.
