CAUTION
a. Do not exceed the device safe working load.
b. Socket must be tightened prior to use.
c. Do not span table joint with socket.
d. To prevent patient and/or injury and/or equipment damage: all
modifications, upgrades, or repairs must be performed by an Allen
authorized specialist. Failure to comply may void warranty.
3. Equipment set up and use
The tri-clamp has 3 independent
adjustments for lithotomy, abduction,
and rail position. It holds the following
accessories.
• ½" to 5/8" (13 mm to 16 mm) round
post
• ¼" x 1" (6.35 mm x 25 mm) rectangular
bar
Prior to using this or any other type of
medical apparatus, it is recommended
that you read the Instructions for Use and
familiarize yourself with the product prior
to application on a patient.
a. Unscrew the Rail Lock Knob
completely.
b. The Allen Socket may be hooked over the rail at any point. If a drape
covers the rail the socket may be hooked over the drape. The socket may
also be slid on from the end of the rail.
c. When the socket is in position tighten the Rail Lock Knob securely.
d. Loosen the Power Grip Accessory Lock handle and insert the accessory
post. The accessory may be raised, lowered or rotated in the socket for
positioning prior to tightening the Power Grip Accessory Lock handle. The
Allen Socket will accept up to a 5/8" (1.6 cm) diameter mount post or a
¼" (6.35 mm) x 1" (25 mm) rectangular bar.
e. To adjust the accessory's angle of inclination, loosen the Rotation Lock
Knob until a red line appears, indicating that the Rotation Lock Knob is
loose. Adjust the accessory angle as required and tighten the Rotation
