bewashedinhotwaterwithextradetergent–thiswill
reduce,butnoteliminatethehazard.
D onotdryarticlesthathavebeenpreviously

cleanedin,washedin,soakedin,orspottedwithpetrol,
dry-cleaningsolvents,otherflammable,orexplosive
substancesastheygiveoffvaporsthatcouldignite
orexplode.
I temsthathavebeensoiledwithsubstancessuchas

acetone,alcohol,petrol,kerosene,spotremovers,
turpentine,waxes,andwaxremoversshouldbewashed
inhotwaterwithextradetergentbeforebeingdried
in the dryer.
Do not dry unwashed items in the dryer.
■
D onotusethisdryerifindustrialchemicalshavebeen
■
usedforcleaning.Thepossiblepresenceofresidual
quantitiesofaggressiveordecomposedchemicalsin
theloadmayproducedamagetothedryerandharmful
fumes.
D onotallowchildrentoplayonorinthedryer.Close
■
supervisionofchildrenisnecessarywhenthedryeris
used near children.
T hisdryerisnotintendedforusebypersons(including
■
children)withreducedphysical,sensory,ormental
capabilities,orlackofexperienceorknowledge,
unlesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstruction
concerninguseofthedryerbyapersonresponsiblefor
their safety.
Before the dryer is removed from service or discarded,

removethedoorstothedryercompartment.
Do not reach into the dryer if the drum is moving.

D onotopendoorwhiledryerisinoperation.Itwillstop.

W henloadingorre-loadingthedryer,avoidtouchinghot

K eepareaaroundtheexhaustopeningandadjacent

surroundingareasfreefromtheaccumulationoflint,
dust, and dirt.
T hefreshairventilationopeningsintotheroomandinto

thedryermustnotbeblockedorsealed.
E mergencystopcontrol:Themainsplugshouldbe

removed in an emergency.
T heinteriorofthedryeranddryerexhaustventshould

becleanedperiodicallybyqualifiedservicepersonnel.
