This appliance can be used in several cooking positions in order to adapt to different
kinds of food.
Always wear adequate oven gloves for your own safety. Only use only the cool-touch
handle. Never touch the hot parts of the appliance while it is operating.
CAUTION: decide which cooking position do you wish to use before plugging in the
appliance and start cooking. To handle the appliance while it is operating may cause
accidents and severe burns.
Closed position
Place the food on the down plate and close the lid carefully without forcing it. This posi-
tion is suitable for meat slices, hamburguers or sandwiches. It is recommeded to keep
the plates closed to avoid the loss of heat.
Parallel position
Place the food on the down plate and close the upper plate, so both plates do not touch
each other and are set in parallel position. To achieve this position, rise the lid and pull
up so both connection plugs on the top side are assmebled to the support hooks in both
sides of the lower part of the appliance. This position is suitable for thick meat pieces,
fish and food that do not require pressing.
180° position
Open the appliance so both plates remain aligned. To achieve this, raise the lid vertically
and then rotate it forward so both plates adopt a horizontal position.
This position is suitable for thick or medium meat pieces that require slow cooking.
Thanks to its double surface, it is possible to cook meat and vegetables simultaneously,
or cook larger amounts of food. It is recommended to adjust the thermostat knob to the
maximum temperature level, since this position is prone to heat loss in comparison to
the closed and 90° positions.
Recommendations
When using the appliance for the first time, clean the plates' surface with a damp soft
cloth or something similar.
It is recommended to plug the appliance to start preheating several minutes before pla-
cing the sandwiches on the plates.
Food such as fish or frozen food should be completely dry before cooking it on the pla-
tes.
