Conexión a cualquier otro controlador o un
PCS
Si conecta el Statox 501 IR a cualquier otro dispositivo de
control o PCS, respete los datos técnicos del capítulo 9.

Puesta en marcha y menú de contraseñas
Una vez conectado a la red de alimentación de 24 V, el
Statox 501 IR mostrará el índice de software y
seguidamente el código de gas (ver lista 4.5). Después
del tiempo de calentamiento pasará a modo de detección
e empezará a indicar la concentración del gas.
Para acceder al menú de usuario, conectar el adaptador
de calibración al cabezal sensor. Hay 2 teclas que se
emplean para el adaptador de calibración. Pulsando la
tecla Intro ↵ se pasa al menú siguiente o se selecciona
un código del menú. R (Reinicio) le devuelve siempre al
modo de medición.
Pulse la tecla Intro ↵ para acceder al menú de
contraseñas. El primer dígito empezará a parpadear.
Seleccione el código deseado pulsando la tecla Intro
cuando aparezca el primer dígito deseado. El Segundo
dígito empezará a parpadear de igual forma. Seleccione
el código deseado pulsando la tecla Intro cuando
aparezca el dígito correcto. En este documento se incluye
una ilustración con el diagrama de menús.

Ajuste de cero y de span
Seleccione el código 11.
Primeramente hay que calibrar el transmisor. Antes de
iniciar una calibración, dejar pasar por lo menos 1 hora de
estabilización. Una vez iniciada la calibración, se ajusta a
cero. Durante este proceso parpadeará en pantalla "000".
La puesta a cero debe efectuarse en una atmósfera
limpia. Si no está seguro de la situación de la atmósfera,
emplee un aire sintético. Para volver al modo de medición
y evitar el procedimiento de calibración, pulsar la tecla de
reinicio. La calibración para el gas se inicia pulsando la
tecla Intro ↵. Debe emplearse gas span con una
concentración entre 30 y 70% LEL. Conectar el gas a la
entrada del adaptador de calibración e iniciar el
procedimiento pulsando la tecla Intro ↵.
Durante la calibración, aparecerá en la pantalla "Go". Al
cabo de un rato, empezará a parpadear "Go", indicando
que se ha detectado el gas de calibración. Cuando haya
finalizado la calibración con éxito, aparecerá en pantalla
Con. Hasta este momento no se ha guardado ningún dato
nuevo. Pulsando la tecla de Reinicio se volvería al modo
de medición y el transmisor
calibración previos.
El último paso de la calibración es introducir la
concentración del gas span. La última concentración que
se haya utilizado aparecerá en pantalla. Si no es
necesario hacer ningún cambio, pulsar la tecla Intro. Una
vez el aparato haya vuelto al modo normal de detección,
utilizaría los datos de

Connection to any other Controller or a PCS
If you connect the Statox 501 IR to any other control device
or PCS, observe the technical data in chapter 9.

Start-up and Password Menu
After being connected to the 24 V power supply, the Statox
501 IR will display the software index and then the gas
code (see list 4.5). After warm up it will go into the detection
mode and start displaying the gas concentration.
To access the user menu, connect the calibration adapter
to the sensor head. There are 2 keys that can be used on
the calibration adapter. Pressing the Enter button ↵ will
bring you to the next menu point or selects a menu code. R
(Reset) always brings you back into the measuring mode.
Push the Enter button ↵ to access the password menu. The
first digit will start alternating. Select the desired code by
pushing the Enter button when the correct first digit
appears. The second digit will start alternating in the same
way. Select the secondary code by pushing the Enter
button when the correct digit arrives. An illustrated menu
diagram is available in this document.

Zero and Span Adjustment
Select code 11.
The transmitter is pre-calibrated. Before starting a
calibration allow at least 1 hour to stabilize. After initiating
the calibration program, the zero will be adjusted. During
this process the display will flash "000".
Zeroing must be done in a clean atmosphere. If you are
unsure about the environment, use synthetic air. To return
to the measuring mode and avoid the calibration procedure,
press the reset button. Pushing Enter ↵ button starts a gas
calibration. Span gas with a concentration from 30 to 70%
LEL should be used. Connect the gas to the intake of the
calibration adapter and start the procedure by pushing the
Enter ↵ button.
During a calibration "Go" will appear on the display. After a
while "Go" will start flashing, indicating that the calibration
gas has been detected. When the calibration has been
successfully finished, the display will show Con. Up to this
point no new data has been stored. Pushing the Reset
button will return to the measuring mode and the transmitter
will use the previous calibration data.
The final step for calibration is entering the span gas
concentration. The last concentration used will appear on
the display. If no change is needed, push the Enter button.
Once the instrument has returned to the normal detection
mode, it verifies the calibration by displaying the actual gas
concentration.
