TIPS
•
Place the arepas on a wire rack to cool down for a few minutes. Do not pile
them on top of one another after cooked, otherwise they will soften.
•
Make sure the arepa dough ball does not overfill the cooking surface
because the arepa will not cook all the way through.
•
If the dough is too soft and hard to manage, place more flour and knead
until it is easy to make a small ball. Make sure the dough is not too dry, it
should be soft to touch.
•
When making the dough you can add a tablespoon of grated parmesan
cheese or salt for added flavor.
•
You can top with your favorite ingredient including but not limited to:
cheese, cold cuts, cooked meats, fresh vegetables such as tomato or
avocado.
RECIPE NOTIFICATION
•
The recipe servings are subject to the quality of the ingredients, the
cooking conditions, and the amount of dough used per arepa among
other variables. Please note that the serving size varies per recipe.
