Troubleshooting

If your heater fails to operate, please do the following:
•
Review these instructions to ensure you understand the basic operations and features of
your heater.
•
Check for obstructions. Unplug the heater for 30 minutes, clear any obstructions and
restart the heater.
•
Check that the fan heater is on a flat and level surface and that the tip-over safety switch is
pushed in.
NOTE: DO NOT expect the heating coils to glow. An orange tint may be noticeable on the heating
element away from the main air flow.
NEVER attempt to open or service the heater yourself. Doing so may result in damage or
personal injury.
