Instructions
If you want to continue grilling, remove excess oil from the plates with a
kitchen towel – take care to avoid burns, the plates will be hot. Then close
the grill to retain the heat. Wait again until the green 'Ready' light illuminates
to continue grilling at the right temperature.
Hot steam may escape when opening the grill, so be careful to
avoid burns.
Do not use a knife, fork or any other sharp object when removing
food from the grill as this will damage the non-stick surface.
When you have finished with the grill, unplug it from the socket and let the
appliance cool down before cleaning and storage. See page 13 for cleaning
instructions.

Grilling Tips

For best results, do not overload the grill.
Try to have the food pieces similar in size and thickness to ensure even
cooking.
To prevent heat loss and for even cooking, do not open the top plate
frequently during cooking.
Remember that this grill will cook your food faster than a traditional grill, as
it is cooking food from both sides. Watch carefully to avoid overcooking or
burning your food.
Use only silicone, heatproof plastic or wooden utensils when cooking on the
grill. Silicone utensils are especially suitable because they do not discolour
or melt when exposed to high temperatures.
For added flavour, marinate and/or season your food before grilling.
