Uninstalling the serial MIDI driver
Windows XP and 2000 users
1. Log on to Windows as a user with administrative privileges (e.g., Administrator).
2. Open the System Properties dialog box.
Right-click the My Computer icon, and in the menu that appears, select Properties. In
Windows XP, My Computer is located in the Start menu.
3. Click the Hardware tab.
4. In the Device Manager area, click [Device
Manager].
5. Double-click "Sound, video and game
controllers." A list of device will appear.
6. Right click "Roland Serial MIDI Driver," and choose
Uninstall from the menu that appears.
7. A dialog box will ask you to confirm device removal.
Click [OK].
8. Close the Device Manager, and click [OK] in the
System Properties dialog box.
9. Restart Windows.
When Windows restarts, the serial MIDI driver will be deleted.
